Sam Atkinson, a Lead Support Worker from our Lancashire Services has gone the extra mile in his role recently, by creating a successful partnership between himself and Mohsin Ilyas from Lancashire County Council. As a result of this a client has had a positive admission into the service and is settling in very well.
Sam’s line manager received a very kind compliment from Mohsin, for him being an excellent advocate for the Brothers of Charity Services and the services provided.
“My name is Mohsin Ilyas and I am a Social Care Support Officer in the Learning Disability & Autism team at Social Services (East Lancashire).
I am writing this email to notify and raise to your awareness the brilliant piece of work I have seen from Sam Atkinson who I believe to be in your service, I have successfully transitioned a young gentleman in his service and I have found Sam to be very proactive in helping and very willing to alleviate any potential issues.
I am a firm believer that positivity breeds positivity and feel as professionals we should celebrate good collaborations and share good experiences of work.
Please share my thoughts with him and take the necessary action.”
