Liverpool Area Best Practice December 2016

Linda Taylor: For building positive relationships at Royalcroft.

Linda has been a great support to all the tenants reassuring them and supporting them through recent changes, i.e. a new staff team. Linda has also been a great support to the lead support worker and the new staff team and is always ready to give positive advice when needed helping everyone to settle in. Linda is always happy and always has a big smile when she comes into work. All the tenants love having Linda supporting them especially Jimmy who is always asking for her. Just having Linda around brings out the best in everyone.

Anthony Bolger: for being a great advocate for clients

Anthony is one of the very good senior/ lead support workers in locality 2. He is not only a good senior but also a great advocate for clients when helping them with decision making.

Anthony demonstrated this in Feb 2016, when Hurlingham road was supposed to close down with long term void at the property. Anthony strongly advocated the impact on the clients. In MDT meeting he challenged housing provider and social services for this decision.

We acknowledge Anthony’s compassionate care to his clients.

Ruth Dunn: for her ability to deal with challenges

Ruth accepted challenge at Royalcroft very positively and supported clients and staff in a crisis situation. She is not only approachable but also has a proactive approach to deal with any issues. She is extremely thorough in admin tasks, record keeping and communication, which is reflected in a recent quality assessment.

Thorntree Close / Priory Farm Close: for great team work

Thorntree Close / Priory Farm Close have been described as being very positive, going the extra mile, working together as a team and delivering high consistent services, never looking for praise and always trying to enhance the lives of the people whom they support.
